By creating an account, logging in, or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. Account Registration and Security

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account or log in via an approved third-party provider (such as Google).

• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.
• You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and password.
• You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

2. Use of the Service & Roster Management

RecitalGenius is built to assist music teachers and coordinators in organizing student rosters, lesson times, and performance schedules.

• User Responsibility: You retain full responsibility for the roster data, student names, and schedule details you manually input or import into the platform.
• Prohibited Conduct: You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, to upload malicious code, or to disrupt the integrity, security, or performance of the web application.

3. Third-Party Integrations & Google API Data

RecitalGenius offers integration options leveraging third-party platform features, specifically the Google People API, to enhance your workflow productivity.

• Compliance: If you choose to connect your Google Account to RecitalGenius, you agree to use these features in strict compliance with Google's respective terms of service and applicable data privacy laws.
• Data Ownership: RecitalGenius claims no ownership rights over any user data, names, or contact lists you pull from your Google Account. We act strictly as an interface and temporary processor to display and link this data within your local dashboard for your scheduling convenience.
• Read-Only Nature: Because our integration operates on a read-only basis, the Service will never attempt to rewrite, modify, or delete any data housed within your Google Account.
• Revocation of Access: You retain the right to revoke RecitalGenius's access to your Google Account at any time via your personal Google Account security panel. Upon revocation, any features relying on that real-time connection will cease to function, but your core, manually entered RecitalGenius account configurations will remain active.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

All right, title, and interest in and to the Service (excluding content or data provided by users), including its software architecture, user interface components, logos, designs, and brand elements, are and will remain the exclusive property of RecitalGenius and its licensors.

5. Termination of Accounts

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. You may also close or delete your account at any time through your dashboard profile settings.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RecitalGenius and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service.
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service.
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or data.

7. "As Is" Disclaimer

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. RecitalGenius disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance.

8. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is substantial, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.
